Following the information that became known yesterday, July 26, in reference to the quarantine obligation in the United Kingdom applicable to Spaniards entering that country or British citizens returning to the UK after an international trip through an unsafe country such as Spain. , we would like to refer you to the consultation of the new file that we have made for this destination. [+ INFO]
As almost always, the media and press information refer only to vacation travel, creating confusion with business travel.
- It is worth noting to companies that the UK quarantine only affects NON-ESSENTIAL TRAVEL. There is a long list of professional situations considered essential for which a company worker does not need to quarantine to enter the UK.
- As always when there are exemptions, it is necessary for the company to justify the essential nature of the work that the employee is going to do. All the exemptions as well as the documents that the company has to provide, can be found in this [LINK] and in this other [LINK]
Another clarification that we would like to take into account. As read in the MAE texts on the UK:
Also, since July 26, 'The Foreign & Commonwealth Office' (FCO) advises against any trip that is not essential to the Spanish peninsular territory. The Canary and Balearic Islands are exempt from this recommendation.
It would give the sensation reading this text that the travelers coming from the Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands were exempt from quarantine when recommending the destination for NON-ESSENTIAL OR TOURIST trips. At least not yet. We refer you to the clarification that the British Government itself launches on the subject for its compatriots back from their holidays, urging them to quarantine. [+ INFO] By extension, the application of the regulations must be the same for Spaniards, whether they come from the peninsula or the islands.

It is reported the publication of Order INT / 595/2020, of July 2, which modifies the criteria for the application of a temporary restriction on non-essential travel from third countries to the European Union and Schengen associated countries for reasons of public order and public health.

010720 - Globalia Corporate Travel - Obligation that the client fill out the public health form through the web or app
We have received quite a few questions from agencies regarding the requirement to inform clients of the need to fill out the FSP (The Public Health Form). When we had not yet been able to resolve the doubts raised by this obligation we have found another important novelty: it is the mandatory that the client reports this requirement through the web or an APP. There is still a requirement that agencies that sell tickets to Spain inform the client of this requirement.. We understand that in our case we must inform Spaniards to return from an international trip in addition to possible tickets issued for international travelers entering our country.
Until July 30, travelers who have not requested the FSP via web or APP will be able to fill out the paper form [LINK FORM] We have not been able to locate an editable form so the traveler must print it and fill it out by hand. In any case, airlines are obliged to also deliver this form to travelers on board in case they have not requested the QR code prior to the trip. You can find the form also in the annex.
Please read the attached Word FSP.DOCX in which we have summarized all the information in this regard. We also include the reference BOE in case you want to consult it. It is also recommended to watch the video present on the website of the application as it is didactic and recommend customers to view it. [VIDEO]

At the moment, in which the country has declared epidemiological Phase III (the most critical) in Mexico, most of the States are in a Red Light (health emergency) or Orange Light (high risk) situation, which implies the cessation of non-essential activities or reduced operation (and this also affects hotels, restaurants and leisure activities).
With the increase in flight cancellations to and from Spain related to COVID-19, Spanish travelers are recommended to reconsider their travel plans.

From Avis, they inform us about the new application launched by the DGT called MiDGT.
In this application, data such as a driving license in digital format as well as the remaining points, documentation of your own vehicle, etc., are safely stored.
You can get more information at this link: https://sede.dgt.gob.es/es/appmidgt/
The digital documentation in MiDGT is valid for the purposes of traffic and circulation in Spain, according to the regulation approved by the DGT (not so abroad where the "physical" card is still essential).
This is why from this moment we include this application as “Format” valid to prove the driving license in Spain .
Do not forget that apart from driving licenses it is necessary to always show your DNI / residence card or passport when picking up the car.
Thank you very much for your attention, greetings and much encouragement,

020620 - Vueling - Important information before traveling
020620 - Finnair - Together towards the future
Dear travel agent,
We hope you and your family are doing well!
Although the exceptional situation caused by the coronavirus continues, at Finnair we are preparing to fly soon and we have some news to share with you.
Increase in our network: flights to Asia from July
We are confident that air travel will gradually begin to recover as travel restrictions are lifted. Today we operate approximately 5% of our regular network, but starting July 1 we will begin adding destinations and frequencies to our network, including key destinations in Asia, and we expect to fly 30% of our normal traffic plan in July. And we will continue to add more destinations and frequencies in the future.
You can find all the latest information in our travel updates page at Finnair.com and the flights are now updated in the GDS;
- routes from July / August from Spain: Malaga, Madrid and Barcelona.
- routes from July: SHA *, PEK *, HKG, SIN, SEL, NRT, OSA, NGO and BKK (* subject to government approval)
- adding in August: JFK and DEL
- addition in November / December: HND, HKT, KBV and MIA
In Europe, we will focus first on key cities in July, then add more destinations in the coming months, especially in southern Europe.
This means that there will also be destinations where we won't fly until 2021. The cancellation of these flights in the GDS will take place gradually and Finnair will send a message to the contact in the reservation, so it is vital to verify that the passenger has entered the contact information in the reservation.
It is good to remember that we have to reserve the right to make changes to our flight plans as this exceptional situation develops. We will review the schedule monthly and update it as travel restrictions are removed and demand begins to recover.
Book with confidence
The "Book with Confidence" policy applies when it comes to Finnair tickets, whether they are tickets already issued or tickets that are issued from now until the end of June 2020. All tickets issued between April 1 to June 30 they automatically have the flexible exchange condition so that up to seven days before departure, it can be changed without any charge (until May 31, 2021).
Get acquainted with the policy of exchange and refund of tickets on the next canceled flights on the routes that will not be operated during the next summer / autumn / winter.
If you have not already done so, we suggest that you enter Finnair Easy in your browser to easily access the most important news for travel agents.
As a reminder: The fastest way to get a refund is to process the refund directly into your GDS system. If that's not possible, issue a refund request through BSP Link to Finnair. Please note that the current response time for refunds is 8-12 weeks.
The full list of the latest news and policies can be found download here.

020620 - TAP - Ready to take off on July 1
Dear friends and collaborators,
Having taken all possible measures for the safety of our clients and counting on your collaboration, we are ready to take off next July 1 in Spain to Lisbon with two daily flights from Madrid and Barcelona, and three weekly flights from Seville and Malaga .
The entire planned operation is naturally pending the opening of borders and we could undergo some change. TAP is in permanent contact with Tourism and Business Organizations to analyze opportunities and respond to the needs of its clients as far as possible.
TAP has maintained throughout the state of emergency in Portugal, five weekly frequencies to Madeira and Azores from Lisbon, to maintain the connectivity of the Portuguese Islands with the mainland.
In this month of May, depending on the situation, we have been reprogramming some flights to Porto, London and Paris, in addition to three intercontinental flights to São Paulo and one to Rio de Janeiro, operating up to 19 weekly flights at the end of this month. .
In June, we will fly from Lisbon to New York (Newark) twice a week, once to Luanda from the 15th and once to Maputo. In Portugal, flights to Madeira will be daily from Lisbon and two weekly flights from Porto, operating a total of 29 weekly flights.
But it will be in July when our operation will increase significantly reaching an average of 250 weekly flights, although we are still far from the 3000 flights that we operated on average per week before the health crisis.
We will fly again to Brussels, Geneva, Zurich, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Berlin, London, Dublin, Paris, Nice, Lyon, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Milan and Rome, with a total of 21 European TAP cities, outside of Portugal.
We will increase flights to Brazil, rescheduling flights to Recife and Fortaleza, to the United States and Canada, with flights to Boston, Miami and Toronto, and also to Africa with flights to Cape Verde (Praia and S. Vicente) and Dakar.
With departure from Porto, in July, in addition to the flights to Lisbon, which will be three daily, we will fly direct to Madeira, Paris and Luxembourg. These outings we remember are especially interesting for your clients in Galicia.
Madeira It will be served with two daily flights from Lisbon and two weekly from Porto to Funchal, in addition to two direct weekly flights to Porto Santo. Azores will receive daily TAP flights in Punta Delgada and three weekly flights in Terceira. Finally two daily flights will be offered between Lisbon and Faro.
In these extraordinary moments, we count on your extraordinary collaboration, to gradually return to normality and together offer a highly reliable service to our clients in Spain whom we are looking forward to welcoming on board again.

250520 - Air France progressively reinforces its flight program
In Spain it will resume the routes of Ibiza and Palma de Mallorca and will increase frequencies from Barcelona and Madrid
Madrid, May 20, 2020.- Since the start of the COVID-19 crisis, Air France has adapted its network and flight program in real time according to travel restrictions and demand. Today, and since the end of March, the company is operating between 3 and 5% of its usual program, concentrating on territorial continuity and maintaining links to key destinations in Europe and the rest of international destinations, both for the transport of passengers and goods. In this context, Air France currently operates to 43 destinations.
In Spain, the company, which has not stopped operating from Barcelona and Madrid since the start of the crisis, plans to increase its frequencies from both cities throughout June. Thus, Air France, which currently offers 3 weekly flights between Madrid and Paris-Charles de Gaulle and another 2 weekly flights between Barcelona and the French capital, will increase the number of flights until it reaches two daily flights starting in the last week of June. These flights will be operated with Airbus A320 family aircraft.
On the other hand, Air France will restart operations from Ibiza and Palma de Mallorca to Paris Charles de Gaulle with a weekly flight on Saturdays from June 27. Ibiza flights will be operated with an Embraer 90 fleet with capacity for 100 passengers and Palma de Mallorca flights will be operated with Airbus A319 for 137 passengers.
Air France's offer in Spain will be complemented by that of its partner KLM, which resumed operations in early May and plans to continue operating one daily flight in each direction between Barcelona and Amsterdam in June and another between Madrid and Amsterdam with an Embraer 1 fleet.
Air France's operations are subject to the evolution of the situation and to the measures taken by the authorities in each of the destinations. Globally, between now and the end of June, and subject to the lifting of travel restrictions, Air France plans to gradually resume its flights, with a gradual increase in the number of frequencies and destinations, especially towards metropolitan France and the territories of overseas and Europe.
This flight program will represent around 15% of the capacity normally deployed at this time and will be operated with 75 aircraft from the Air France fleet, which has 224 aircraft.
In order to accompany its customers during this phase of traffic resumption, Air France is regularly adjusting its flight schedule and updating it daily throughout its distribution channels. As of May 18, 2020, the flight schedule is current through June 30, 2020.

We share LINK TO ORDER SND / 414/2020, of May 16, for the relaxation of certain national restrictions established after the declaration of the state of alarm in phase 2 application of the Plan for the transition to a new normality.
In this order that includes actions for those territorial entities that evolve to phase 2, two topics are touched on that are of interest to our clients and to the agencies. At least it is good news for the easing of measures.

- Article 48 includes the conditions for holding congresses, meetings, business meetings and conferences promoted by both public and private entitiesThese events can be held in congress halls, conference rooms, multipurpose rooms and other similar establishments and facilities.
- Mobility is still restricted to the province, island or territorial unit but it is expressly stated (Article 7) that The limitations on freedom of movement are without prejudice to the exceptions that justify the displacement to another part of the national territory for health, labor, professional or business reasons, etc.. Therefore, the possibility of making work trips and the need for the traveler to carry justification from his company for the reason for the transfer. There is no official model for this supporting document.
