270720 - Globalia Corporate Travel - Clarification on quarantine in the UK

Following the information that became known yesterday, July 26, in reference to the quarantine obligation in the United Kingdom applicable to Spaniards entering that country or British citizens returning to the UK after an international trip through an unsafe country such as Spain. , we would like to refer you to the consultation of the new file that we have made for this destination. [+ INFO]

As almost always, the media and press information refer only to vacation travel, creating confusion with business travel.

  • It is worth noting to companies that the UK quarantine only affects NON-ESSENTIAL TRAVEL. There is a long list of professional situations considered essential for which a company worker does not need to quarantine to enter the UK.
  • As always when there are exemptions, it is necessary for the company to justify the essential nature of the work that the employee is going to do. All the exemptions as well as the documents that the company has to provide, can be found in this [LINK] and in this other [LINK]

Another clarification that we would like to take into account. As read in the MAE texts on the UK:

Also, since July 26, 'The Foreign & Commonwealth Office' (FCO) advises against any trip that is not essential to the Spanish peninsular territory. The Canary and Balearic Islands are exempt from this recommendation.

It would give the sensation reading this text that the travelers coming from the Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands were exempt from quarantine when recommending the destination for NON-ESSENTIAL OR TOURIST trips. At least not yet. We refer you to the clarification that the British Government itself launches on the subject for its compatriots back from their holidays, urging them to quarantine. [+ INFO] By extension, the application of the regulations must be the same for Spaniards, whether they come from the peninsula or the islands.

030720 - Globalia Corporate Travel - Modification of criteria for restricting entry to Spain

It is reported the publication of Order INT / 595/2020, of July 2, which modifies the criteria for the application of a temporary restriction on non-essential travel from third countries to the European Union and Schengen associated countries for reasons of public order and public health.

Among other issues, this Order expands the categories of people exempt from the entry restriction, among others those residing in the countries listed in the annex, although in the case of residents of Algeria, China and Morocco, they are subject to the principle of reciprocity.

010720 - Globalia Corporate Travel - Obligation that the client fill out the public health form through the web or app

We have received quite a few questions from agencies regarding the requirement to inform clients of the need to fill out the FSP (The Public Health Form). When we had not yet been able to resolve the doubts raised by this obligation we have found another important novelty: it is the mandatory that the client reports this requirement through the web or an APP. There is still a requirement that agencies that sell tickets to Spain inform the client of this requirement.. We understand that in our case we must inform Spaniards to return from an international trip in addition to possible tickets issued for international travelers entering our country.

Until July 30, travelers who have not requested the FSP via web or APP will be able to fill out the paper form [LINK FORM] We have not been able to locate an editable form so the traveler must print it and fill it out by hand. In any case, airlines are obliged to also deliver this form to travelers on board in case they have not requested the QR code prior to the trip. You can find the form also in the annex.

Please read the attached Word FSP.DOCX in which we have summarized all the information in this regard. We also include the reference BOE in case you want to consult it. It is also recommended to watch the video present on the website of the application as it is didactic and recommend customers to view it. [VIDEO]

010720 - Globalia Corporate Travel - Passenger Locator Card for passengers arriving in Spain

We want to share with you the latest information that we have received on the measures adopted by the Government of Spain for the arrival of passengers.

International passengers must complete the PLC (Passenger Locator Card) online through the web www.spth.gob.es or through the SPTH App (available at Google Play and App Store).

To protect their health, the Government of Spain has implemented a series of measures to protect people's public health, including sanitary control of passengers upon arrival in Spain. From this website you can fill out the health control form and obtain your QR code, to show it at the controls upon arrival in Spain.

300620 - Globalia Corporate Travel - The first 15 non-EU countries to which Europe opens borders and reciprocally open borders to Europeans are:

The opening of European borders with third countries begins tomorrow July 1. In this first phase, 15 countries will be opened that can be visited by Schengen citizens without special entry requirements. The forecast is that during the month of July and August we will attend a large number of variations in this regard, so it will be necessary to consult the information of a certain continuity. The fact that the borders are open does not exempt them from requesting other requirements such as health controls.

The first 15 non-EU countries to which Europe opens borders and reciprocally open borders to Europeans are:

  1. Algeria.
  2. Australia.
  3. Canada.
  4. Japan.

  10. South Korea.

  12. Tunisia.

Although in general there are no mobility problems, keep in mind that there are still special requirements in some countries like the UK that continues to require quarantine upon entry. Other countries maintain border restrictions which means that documentation, baggage and vehicle reviews may be applied upon entry into these countries. Keep it in mind. Sometimes these controls will be due to COVID issues and in other cases to other risks.

International flights will only be allowed to land from four airports in Canada: Toronto, Montreal, Calgary and Vancouver International Airports.

Airlines have been instructed not to board anyone with symptoms regardless of their nationality.

The Canadian Government maintains the need for a 14-day self-quarantine for anyone arriving in Canada from abroad.

Čatare

On 18.03, the ban on entry into the country of any flight to Doha was decreed. Air cargo and international transit flights, which are maintained, are exempt from said prohibition.

There is a GENERAL PROHIBITION OF ENTERING THE COUNTRY, which includes residents. Permanent residents (who correspond to a very small percentage of the colony residing in Qatar, mostly Arab), and Qatari nationals, after a 14-day quarantine upon entry, are not subject to this prohibition.

On 08.06 the DESCALADA PLAN for Qatar was approved. In this sense, 4 phases have been established, which for the purposes of entry restrictions into the country incorporate the following new features:

- PHASE 1. (As of June 15, 2020): Essential trips outside Qatar will be allowed, with quarantine upon return to Doha. This measure ONLY applies to Qatari citizens.

- PHASE 2. (As of July 1): The same situation is maintained as in Phase 1.

- PHASE 3. (August): Qatari ID holders (QID), from countries of "low risk" epidemiology, whose list is pending publication, will be authorized to reenter Doha.

- PHASE 4. (September): The entrance flights to Doha will be increased, in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Public Health.

CHILE

The Government of Chile has announced the closure of all land, sea and area borders for the arrival of non-residents from March 18.

Spaniards with permanent residence in Chile may enter the country undergoing a mandatory 14-day quarantine.

CHINA

Due to the worldwide expansion of the COVID-19 epidemic, China has made the decision to temporarily prohibit the entry of foreigners into its territory, with the following exceptions:

- Holders of diplomatic and service passports, accredited in China.

- Courtesy visa holders.

- Airline crews, provided they do not disembark from the plane at any time.

Spanish citizens who wish to travel to China for compelling reasons of an economic, commercial, scientific, technological or humanitarian nature may request a special visa at the Chinese Consulates in Spain, justifying the reasons for the need. The entry of foreigners with visas issued after March 28 will not be affected.

For Spaniards who are already in China, the epidemic control and prevention measures continue to be applied

CYPRUS

The Cypriot authorities do not allow people residing in Spain to enter the country at this time.

Spanish residents in Cyprus can return to the island with a negative PCR test, less than 72 hours old, and keeping 14 days of isolation in their homes in Cyprus.

From June 9, Spaniards residing in Germany, Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Slovakia, Slovenia, Estonia, Greece, Finland, Hungary, Israel, Lithuania, Malta, Norway, Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania and Switzerland will be able to enter in Cyprus provided with a negative PCR test, less than 72 hours old, and without the need to quarantine.

COLOMBIA

Given the current situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is reported that both the entry into Colombia of foreign citizens and the exit from the country are restricted.

All commercial international flights are suspended, and land borders with neighboring countries are closed.

Likewise, the possibilities of displacement in the interior of Colombia are limited.

COSTA RICA

It is reported that since March 28 all commercial flights to or from Europe have been suspended. The suspension is temporary and its duration will be linked to the evolution of the impact of COVID -19. It is recommended to consult the airlines for their dates of resumption of operations.

CROATIA

The Republic of Croatia has introduced special measures aimed at regulating the movement of people across its borders during the health emergency caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Currently, citizens of the EU Member States or Schengen Area Member States, as well as members of their families, may enter the Republic of Croatia for any of the following reasons:

- Tourism: They must prove that they have a reservation for accommodation, a place on a tourist or recreational boat, or be the owner of a property or a boat located in Croatia, or find themselves in a similar situation.
- Professionals: They must show the invitation letter of the company or institution inviting.
- Personal: The reason for the displacement must be documented, whether it is an appointment in a hospital for medical treatment, or attendance, for example, at a funeral.

CUBA

As of today, Cuban airspace is closed until August 1 by decision of the Cuban Authorities. It is possible that this measure could be extended or even shortened as the current health situation in Cuba evolves.

Currently, only certain humanitarian or cargo flights are authorized.

Foreign citizens not residing in Cuba are prohibited from entering as long as the current provisions remain in force.

In the event that any traveler exceptionally enters Cuba on any of these humanitarian flights, they must keep mandatory confinement for 14 days in one of the centers set up for this purpose by the Cuban State.

All hotels and rental houses for tourists in Cuba are currently closed.

DENMARK

The Danish authorities decreed on March 14 the closure of national borders whose control is exercised by the police. This exceptional situation has been extended until June 27.

Until this date, access to Denmark is only allowed to those foreigners who have a residence card in Denmark, who prove 'just cause' or who are in one of the duly accredited situations of force majeure, and in no case for reasons of tourism. In recent weeks the casuistry on what the authorities consider 'just cause' has been expanding.

SLOVAKIA

The Slovak State has decreed a State of Health Emergency throughout the country. By Therefore, controls are introduced at all borders and only those who have residence (permanent or temporary) may enter the country. International passenger transport at Slovakia international airports, railways and bus companies is canceled. Exiting the country is only possible by private transport.

SLOVENIA

Slovenia formally announced the end of the epidemic status on May 15. Since then, a gradual de-escalation process has been started to avoid a new outbreak of the virus. On June 1, most of the restrictive measures were abolished although the health situation has not reached full normality.

FINLAND

The Government of Finland has decreed the partial continuation of controls at internal borders and the extension of traffic restrictions at the country's external borders from June 15, 2020 to July 14, 2020.

FRANCE

As of June 21, the French government has lifted access restrictions at the internal borders of the "European space" (EU Member States, United Kingdom, Switzerland, San Marino, Andorra, Monaco, Lichtenstein, Iceland and Norway). However, it maintains controls and reserves the right to impose the necessary health security measures in the case of travelers with obvious symptoms and compatible with Covid-19.

Access restrictions to travelers from outside the "European space" are maintained until July 1

GREECE

As of today, there are still no direct flights with Spain, which may require the traveler to undergo the COVID-19 test and the obligation to observe a 14-day quarantine in case of testing positive or having been in close contact with someone who tests positive. All this can also be applied to passengers in transit with the risk of losing the corresponding air connection. Consequently, it is recommended to exercise caution when considering traveling to Greece and to keep yourself promptly informed.

-From June 15 to 30:

-the suspension of direct flights to / from Spain / Greece has been lifted, but during this period the airlines still do not operate direct flights between the two countries;

-As of July 1:

-You can fly to / from all the international airports in Greece (and not only those in Athens and Thessaloniki). A mask must be worn at all times both at airports and on flights;

ISRAEL

1) The entry into Israel of non-Israeli citizens is limited, for the time being, to persons with an Israeli residence permit and with residence in Israel in which they can spend a quarantine of 14 days after their arrival. In addition, Spanish travelers must process their entry authorization through the Israeli Embassy in Spain.

2) There is a great limitation of flights between Spain and Israel and, occasionally, there are cancellations of these flights.

Only people with permanent residence in the country are allowed, in addition to Israeli citizens with their families. Spanish travelers heading to Israel should be aware that they will only be admitted if they have an Israeli identity card (Teudat Zehut).

ITALIA

The emergency by the COVID-19 forces to apply maximum prudence in the displacements that will be able to be made exclusively in the cases that the current regulations in each country determine.

Although we are in a process of de-escalation, both in Italy and in Spain, there may be restrictions on mobility that may arise as a result of emergency measures to control sources of contagion.

It is recalled that various services (transport, hotels, restaurants, museums ...) are only partially operational and with time limitations. Inform yourself well through official sources, before starting your trip.

Before embarking on a trip, remember the convenience of having a European health card, and it is highly recommended to also have travel insurance. We also recommend that you check the operation of the transport companies that you are going to use for your trip.

And remember: to contain the spread of the coronavirus, the use of a mask is highly recommended (in closed spaces it is mandatory in Italy and Spain), frequent hand washing and keeping the safety distance.

JAPAN

Until June 30, extendable, all people entering Japan from one of these areas, whether Japanese or foreign, will be asked to undergo a 14-day quarantine and avoid using public transport.

LUXEMBOURG

There are currently no legal restrictions in Luxembourg on the free movement of persons, although it is recommended to avoid unnecessary movement.

MALTA

Until the complete resumption of flights to and from Spain, after the restrictions of the authorities of the previous months related to the COVID-19, it is recommended that Spanish travelers reconsider their travel plans and verify the existence of flights from 1 July 2020.

MEXICO

At the moment, in which the country has declared epidemiological Phase III (the most critical) in Mexico, most of the States are in a Red Light (health emergency) or Orange Light (high risk) situation, which implies the cessation of non-essential activities or reduced operation (and this also affects hotels, restaurants and leisure activities).

UNITED KINGDOM

With the increase in flight cancellations to and from Spain related to COVID-19, Spanish travelers are recommended to reconsider their travel plans.

The British Government has published a website collecting the latest information on the public about the Coronavirus (COVID-19), including the situation in the United Kingdom and information about the virus its symptoms, tips for travelers and the actions taken by the United Kingdom. The information is updated frequently and can be consulted in the following link.

020620 - AVIS - Mobile registration certificate - MiDGT

Good morning

From Avis, they inform us about the new application launched by the DGT called MiDGT.

In this application, data such as a driving license in digital format as well as the remaining points, documentation of your own vehicle, etc., are safely stored.

You can get more information at this link: https://sede.dgt.gob.es/es/appmidgt/

The digital documentation in MiDGT is valid for the purposes of traffic and circulation in Spain, according to the regulation approved by the DGT (not so abroad where the "physical" card is still essential).

This is why from this moment we include this application as “Format” valid to prove the driving license in Spain .

Do not forget that apart from driving licenses it is necessary to always show your DNI / residence card or passport when picking up the car.

Thank you very much for your attention, greetings and much encouragement,

020620 - Vueling - Important information before traveling

020620 - Finnair - Together towards the future

Dear travel agent,

We hope you and your family are doing well!

Although the exceptional situation caused by the coronavirus continues, at Finnair we are preparing to fly soon and we have some news to share with you.

Increase in our network: flights to Asia from July

We are confident that air travel will gradually begin to recover as travel restrictions are lifted. Today we operate approximately 5% of our regular network, but starting July 1 we will begin adding destinations and frequencies to our network, including key destinations in Asia, and we expect to fly 30% of our normal traffic plan in July. And we will continue to add more destinations and frequencies in the future.

You can find all the latest information in our travel updates page at Finnair.com and the flights are now updated in the GDS;

  • routes from July / August from Spain: Malaga, Madrid and Barcelona.
  • routes from July: SHA *, PEK *, HKG, SIN, SEL, NRT, OSA, NGO and BKK (* subject to government approval)
  • adding in August: JFK and DEL
  • addition in November / December: HND, HKT, KBV and MIA

In Europe, we will focus first on key cities in July, then add more destinations in the coming months, especially in southern Europe.

This means that there will also be destinations where we won't fly until 2021. The cancellation of these flights in the GDS will take place gradually and Finnair will send a message to the contact in the reservation, so it is vital to verify that the passenger has entered the contact information in the reservation.

It is good to remember that we have to reserve the right to make changes to our flight plans as this exceptional situation develops. We will review the schedule monthly and update it as travel restrictions are removed and demand begins to recover.

Book with confidence

The "Book with Confidence" policy applies when it comes to Finnair tickets, whether they are tickets already issued or tickets that are issued from now until the end of June 2020. All tickets issued between April 1 to June 30 they automatically have the flexible exchange condition so that up to seven days before departure, it can be changed without any charge (until May 31, 2021).

Get acquainted with the policy of exchange and refund of tickets on the next canceled flights on the routes that will not be operated during the next summer / autumn / winter.

If you have not already done so, we suggest that you enter Finnair Easy in your browser to easily access the most important news for travel agents.

As a reminder: The fastest way to get a refund is to process the refund directly into your GDS system. If that's not possible, issue a refund request through BSP Link to Finnair. Please note that the current response time for refunds is 8-12 weeks.

The full list of the latest news and policies can be found download here.

Measures at Helsinki airport and on board our flights

We are preparing for the number of passengers that is gradually increasing with several new measures to make traveling as safe as possible. During May, we will adopt new procedures on board and at the airport to ensure that our customers and employees can board our flight with confidence and ensure that they are well protected from possible contamination at the airport and on board;

  • Clients must wear a mask on board our flights.
  • Finnair customer service staff are wearing a surgical mask at Helsinki Airport (at least until August 31)
  • Cabin crew are wearing surgical masks on board our aircraft (at least until August 31)
  • When bus use is necessary at airports, they will be used at 50% of their capacity.
  • Protective screens installed at different service points at Helsinki airport.

Please note that our clients are expected to bring their own face masks and boarding may be denied if not carried. Aircraft cleaning has been further intensified, with a special focus on high-contact areas.

Already in March we adopted several measures to guarantee the well-being of clients and our staff, with changes in boarding / disembarking procedures, a no-contact policy, principles of social distancing applied to seats, additional cleaning measures and protective equipment. for our crew. You can read more about health and safety during the trip on our website.

Once again, we want to thank you for being our customer and we look forward to flying into the future together with you.

SINCERELY,

Finnair sales team

020620 - TAP - Ready to take off on July 1

Dear friends and collaborators,

Having taken all possible measures for the safety of our clients and counting on your collaboration, we are ready to take off next July 1 in Spain to Lisbon with two daily flights from Madrid and Barcelona, and three weekly flights from Seville and Malaga .

The entire planned operation is naturally pending the opening of borders and we could undergo some change. TAP is in permanent contact with Tourism and Business Organizations to analyze opportunities and respond to the needs of its clients as far as possible.

TAP has maintained throughout the state of emergency in Portugal, five weekly frequencies to Madeira and Azores from Lisbon, to maintain the connectivity of the Portuguese Islands with the mainland.

In this month of May, depending on the situation, we have been reprogramming some flights to Porto, London and Paris, in addition to three intercontinental flights to São Paulo and one to Rio de Janeiro, operating up to 19 weekly flights at the end of this month. .

In June, we will fly from Lisbon to New York (Newark) twice a week, once to Luanda from the 15th and once to Maputo. In Portugal, flights to Madeira will be daily from Lisbon and two weekly flights from Porto, operating a total of 29 weekly flights.

But it will be in July when our operation will increase significantly reaching an average of 250 weekly flights, although we are still far from the 3000 flights that we operated on average per week before the health crisis.

We will fly again to Brussels, Geneva, Zurich, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Berlin, London, Dublin, Paris, Nice, Lyon, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Milan and Rome, with a total of 21 European TAP cities, outside of Portugal.

We will increase flights to Brazil, rescheduling flights to Recife and Fortaleza, to the United States and Canada, with flights to Boston, Miami and Toronto, and also to Africa with flights to Cape Verde (Praia and S. Vicente) and Dakar.

With departure from Porto, in July, in addition to the flights to Lisbon, which will be three daily, we will fly direct to Madeira, Paris and Luxembourg. These outings we remember are especially interesting for your clients in Galicia.

Madeira It will be served with two daily flights from Lisbon and two weekly from Porto to Funchal, in addition to two direct weekly flights to Porto Santo. Azores will receive daily TAP flights in Punta Delgada and three weekly flights in Terceira. Finally two daily flights will be offered between Lisbon and Faro.

In these extraordinary moments, we count on your extraordinary collaboration, to gradually return to normality and together offer a highly reliable service to our clients in Spain whom we are looking forward to welcoming on board again.

250520 - Air France progressively reinforces its flight program

In Spain it will resume the routes of Ibiza and Palma de Mallorca and will increase frequencies from Barcelona and Madrid

Madrid, May 20, 2020.- Since the start of the COVID-19 crisis, Air France has adapted its network and flight program in real time according to travel restrictions and demand. Today, and since the end of March, the company is operating between 3 and 5% of its usual program, concentrating on territorial continuity and maintaining links to key destinations in Europe and the rest of international destinations, both for the transport of passengers and goods. In this context, Air France currently operates to 43 destinations.
In Spain, the company, which has not stopped operating from Barcelona and Madrid since the start of the crisis, plans to increase its frequencies from both cities throughout June. Thus, Air France, which currently offers 3 weekly flights between Madrid and Paris-Charles de Gaulle and another 2 weekly flights between Barcelona and the French capital, will increase the number of flights until it reaches two daily flights starting in the last week of June. These flights will be operated with Airbus A320 family aircraft.
On the other hand, Air France will restart operations from Ibiza and Palma de Mallorca to Paris Charles de Gaulle with a weekly flight on Saturdays from June 27. Ibiza flights will be operated with an Embraer 90 fleet with capacity for 100 passengers and Palma de Mallorca flights will be operated with Airbus A319 for 137 passengers.
Air France's offer in Spain will be complemented by that of its partner KLM, which resumed operations in early May and plans to continue operating one daily flight in each direction between Barcelona and Amsterdam in June and another between Madrid and Amsterdam with an Embraer 1 fleet.
Air France's operations are subject to the evolution of the situation and to the measures taken by the authorities in each of the destinations. Globally, between now and the end of June, and subject to the lifting of travel restrictions, Air France plans to gradually resume its flights, with a gradual increase in the number of frequencies and destinations, especially towards metropolitan France and the territories of overseas and Europe.
This flight program will represent around 15% of the capacity normally deployed at this time and will be operated with 75 aircraft from the Air France fleet, which has 224 aircraft.

In order to accompany its customers during this phase of traffic resumption, Air France is regularly adjusting its flight schedule and updating it daily throughout its distribution channels. As of May 18, 2020, the flight schedule is current through June 30, 2020.

We share LINK TO ORDER SND / 414/2020, of May 16, for the relaxation of certain national restrictions established after the declaration of the state of alarm in phase 2 application of the Plan for the transition to a new normality.

  • Article 48 includes the conditions for holding congresses, meetings, business meetings and conferences promoted by both public and private entitiesThese events can be held in congress halls, conference rooms, multipurpose rooms and other similar establishments and facilities.

250520 - Accor - Caring for our guests and teams

Welcoming, protecting and caring for others is the essence of what we do and who we are. We offer high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all our brands worldwide. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and to ensure guest safety, as hotels reopen, we have further raised those standards by launching the Cleaning & Prevention seal ALLSAFE, which represents some of the strictest cleaning standards and operating protocols in the world of hospitality. These standards have been reviewed by Bureau Veritas, the world leader in hygiene and cleanliness inspection. These new standards will include a strengthened cleaning program with frequent disinfection of all high-contact public areas, such as shared elevators and bathrooms, an improved room cleaning program that uses hospital-grade cleaning materials, new standards to ensure cleanup measures. Social distancing throughout the hotel and medical assistance in case any of our guests requires it.

We continue to look for ways to care for Accor employees and team members who have been personally and professionally affected by the pandemic. Accor recently created a € 70 million ALL Heartist fund dedicated to financially helping people in distress due to this crisis, as well as frontline professionals (medical personnel, police and military forces).

Offering flexibility for our guests

We remain committed to providing flexibility to our guests during these difficult times, which is why we have further expanded our cancellation policy. Globally, guests who booked a non-flexible rate directly with Accor to travel until June 30, 2020 may modify their reservation for a future date (within 18 months) at the same hotel or receive a credit voucher for the value Total for later use. For guests who have booked at a flexible rate, we will continue to allow a full cancellation before the scheduled arrival date.
