Royal Decree-Law 23/2020, of June 23, which entered into force on June 24, stipulated the Sanitary Control of international passengers upon entry into Spain.

By the aforementioned Decree the Ministry of Health is empowered to establish the necessary sanitary controls (they may include taking the temperature, a documentary control and a visual control on the status of the passenger). Travel agencies, tour operators and air or sea transport companies and any other agent that commercializes air tickets must inform passengers of the obligation to present the health form (Spanish version for download) (English version for download) at the port / airport of destination (Sixth Additional Provision).

This document's main objective is to identify and locate travelers who have been able to share a flight with another positive in COVID-19 in order to implement the necessary isolation measures, its compliance affects all types of international travelers, be they foreigners who enter Spain or Spaniards returning after an international displacement.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs enables an information phone for corporate travelers

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has made the telephone service CONECTA International Mobility available to those who have to travel to other countries for professional reasons so that they can resolve doubts about the conditions, entry requirements and restrictions due to the coronavirus.

The telephone service CONNECT International Mobility that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched aims to facilitate the international movement of all those entrepreneurs, workers, professional o Technical that they need to undertake international trips despite the severe restrictions derived from COVID-19.

Through a telephone platform and with a simple call to 060 (or +34 911252122 XNUMX XNUMX from abroad), users will be able to ask specific questions about the terms y entry requirements from different countries, sanitary measures which are established and what ways can be adopted to make them more flexible before the need to make those trips.

During 2019, about 4,5 million people left Spain for work reasons, while 5,4 million people traveled to this country for the same reasons.

Spain has some 6.000 subsidiaries of Spanish companies with business abroad that employ around 800.000 people and generate an annual turnover of 200.000 million euros. Most of it is concentrated in America (404.000 people), Europe (273.000 people) and Asia (60.000 people).

The SND / 403/2020 Order of May 11 is reported on the quarantine conditions to which people from other countries must undergo upon arrival in Spain, during the health crisis caused by COVID-19:

Are excepted of these measures cross-border workers, carriers and crews, as well as health professionals who are going to carry out their work, provided they have not been in contact with people diagnosed with COVID-19.

Travel agencies, tour operators and transport companies must inform travelers of these measures at the beginning of the ticket sales process destined for Spanish territory.
